Job Description

Salary: $103,450 - 197,730 per year Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a Business or Science-related field, or 4 years of relevant data and analytics or technical experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in an information management practice, business application function, or data delivery is required. Alternatively, if you hold an Advanced degree in a Business or Science field, 2 years of experience in data and analytics, technical, or a related business function is needed.
  • Basic experience in following data management practices and theories, with proficiency in tools to address data management risks and concerns.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL, including SQL-based languages.
  • Ability to foster business knowledge through meaningful relationships at both individual contributor and leadership levels.
  • Demonstrated skills in identifying and resolving data discrepancies, recognizing data anomalies, and performing root cause analyses.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to deliver presentations at all management levels.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements across all IMA responsibilities and routines.
  • Participate in, and possibly spearhead, discussions with cross-functional teams to promote consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness in information management.
  • Assist in developing standard processes and tools to meet business requirements.
  • Maintain Information Asset Inventories and ensure appropriate classification of data and assets.
  • Support the delivery of information following Information Governance standards and data management practices through documentation, teamwork, and execution of established processes.
  • Maintain the metadata repository and ensure accurate metadata associations.
  • Review, validate, and document metadata and data quality information.
  • Develop process enhancements to mitigate data quality risks, including creating data quality plans, implementing rule checks, and supervising findings via reports and dashboards as needed.
  • Document and update data quality corrective action plans.
  • Aid in the compliance assessment process by reviewing and documenting failures from data quality compliance checks.
  • Recommend Master and Reference Data processes that align with Enterprise Policies and Standards, and craft and maintain reference data based on defined processes and procedures.
  • Lead the quality and ongoing maintenance of master data.
  • Define and implement processes to reduce data quality risks and support compliance by identifying and addressing potential risks to the organization.
  • Support Privacy initiatives through the classification, tagging, and analysis of critically sensitive data while ensuring compliance in handling this data according to our policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that any risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled as per our risk and compliance policies.

We are looking for a Mid-Level Information Analyst with a solid foundation in AML Information Governance. The exemplary candidate will have technical skills in various tools such as SQL, Python, Snowflake, and SAS, and will be adept at leading and analyzing information using diverse techniques. This role necessitates collaboration with business owners and technical teams to ensure adherence to our policies and relevant regulations.

Our work environment is flexible, with a requirement for office attendance 4 days a week, preferably at our Plano, Texas location, although we also welcome candidates from San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, Chesapeake, VA, or Tampa, FL. Please note that relocation assistance is not available, and we do not provide visa sponsorship for this position.

If you have 2 years of AML (anti-money laundering) experience in information technology, experience with the Actimize Case Management Tool, and a proven technical background with SQL, Python, SAS, and Snowflake, you may stand out as a strong candidate. Excellent writing and communication skills specific to the Information Management realm are essential, enabling you to convey complex data concepts clearly. A CAMS certification would also be advantageous.

The salary range for this position varies based on experience, falling between $103,450 and $197,730. Employees may qualify for pay incentives based on corporate and individual performance, subject to the discretion of our Board of Directors.
