You’ll play a key part in supporting HR compliance projects, starting with a large-scale I-9 audit following multiple healthcare acquisitions. This involves reviewing thousands of employee I-9 forms, identifying missing information, and connecting with employees to resolve issues via Microsoft Teams meetings. Once resolved, you’ll help organize and store files within the company’s online filing system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and update Form I-9 documentation for compliance.
  • Reach out to employees via Teams and email to gather missing documentation.
  • Conduct virtual meetings with employees to verify and correct I-9 information.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and compliance reports.
  • Organize and manage electronic employee files.
  • Collaborate with HR team members and leadership to ensure compliance standards are met.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1–3 years in HR, compliance, or onboarding preferred. Healthcare or regulated industry experience a plus.
  • Education: Associate’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organization and follow-through.
  • Comfortable on video (Teams) and email communication.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Workday experience a plus.

Here's the Important Info:

  • Hands-on training during your first week.
  • Ongoing support from a communicative manager and a team of 14 colleagues.
  • Contract expected to last 6–12 months with potential to extend or transition into future compliance projects.
  • A great way to gain HR compliance experience and grow your career.
  • Pay: $24 – $26 per hour
  • Location: 100% Remote (must reside in Washington State)
  • Schedule: Start ASAP
  • Contract Length: 6 months with possible extension
