Our mission is to enable researchers to find cures faster, empower every clinician to be an expert, and help families make the most informed decisions about their care. Achieving Truveta' s ambitious vision requires an incredible team of talented and inspired people with a special combination of health, software and big data experience who share our company values. This Opportunity We are seeking a Principal Biostatistician to join our team and play a key role in advancing the use of large language models (LLMs) in healthcare data analysis. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating the performance of LLMs in extracting data from unstructured clinical documentation originating in electronic health record (EHR) systems, validating the accuracy and consistency of that data, and developing code and analytical tools that enable customers to seamlessly use the extracted outputs combined with other semi-structured data sources in their scientific studies. The ideal candidate will combine strong statistical expertise with programming skills and a deep understanding of real-world data (RWD), data quality, and validation methods. You will collaborate closely with machine learning engineers, terminologists, clinical informaticists, and data scientists to ensure that model-derived data are both statistically sound and clinically meaningful. You will also interface with customers in order to help them understand the data, how it can be used, and its limitations.
