Job Description

Salary: $103,450 - 197,730 per year Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a Science discipline is required; alternatively, 4 years of relevant data and analytics or technical experience may be accepted in place of the degree.
  • 4 years of experience in an information management practice, business application function, or data delivery. If you hold an advanced degree in Business or Science, 2 years of experience in data and analytics or a relevant technical function is required.
  • Fundamental understanding of data management practices and theories, with practical experience using tools to address data management risks.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of SQL and related languages.
  • Ability to foster business knowledge through effective partnerships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven skills in identifying and resolving data discrepancies and performing root cause analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for delivering presentations to management at various levels.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes across all Information Management responsibilities and workflows.
  • Engage in and potentially lead discussions with cross-functional teams to promote consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness in information management.
  • Contribute to the development of standard processes and tools based on business requirements.
  • Maintain Information Asset Inventories, ensuring assets are appropriately classified.
  • Support the delivery of information according to Information Governance standards and data management practices, utilizing documentation, teamwork, and process execution.
  • Keep the metadata repository accurate and updated, reviewing, validating, and documenting metadata and data quality information.
  • Develop process improvements and enhancements to reduce data quality risks, including creating data quality plans, implementing rule checks, and supervising results, reports, and dashboards.
  • Document and revise data quality corrective action plans, supporting compliance assessments by reviewing and documenting findings from data quality checks.
  • Recommend Master and Reference Data processes to align with Enterprise Policies and Standards, crafting and maintaining reference data according to established procedures.
  • Lead the quality management of master data, while assisting in the identification and escalation of potential compliance risks.
  • Support Privacy initiatives through effective classification, tagging, and analysis of critical data, ensuring compliance and remediation according to defined policies.

Compensation ranges from $103,450 to $197,730, depending on experience and market data, and employees may be eligible for performance-based pay incentives.
